I visited my Mum, Evelyn Mitchell, at Dorley House during February/March 2009 and I cannot thank the staff enough for the care and compassion shown. With Lesley, Norma and team caring for Mum I was able to return to my home in Cape Town, South Africa knowing that my Mum was receiving assistance with dignity. Nothing was too much trouble and now that I am so far away I can still keep in touch by ‘phone and email. The award to Lesley is so well deserved and a testimony to the dedication of a great team of professional carers. I think of my Mum day and night and if I cannot be with her I am glad she has Lesley in her corner.
